Our Story

Founded in 1989 by Leon Dorleans, Haiti Outreach Ministries began with a small congregation in Cité Soleil, one of the poorest slums in Port-au-Prince. The organization was established to meet the spiritual, educational, and healthcare needs of the community. Over the years, HOM has expanded its reach, serving over 40,000 Haitians annually through various initiatives.

Impact

HOM significantly improves the quality of life for impoverished communities, providing education for over 1,800 children, healthcare for over 12,000 patients, and vocational training for over 500 adults each year.
