Haiti Eye Mission

Our Story

Haiti Eye Mission was founded by Dr. Lance Bergstrom after witnessing the urgent need for eyecare during a trip to Haiti in 2012. This experience ignited a passion for helping the people of Pignon, leading to annual medical and surgical eye mission teams at Hopital Bienfaisance de Pignon.

Impact

Serving approximately 1,400 patients each year, Haiti Eye Mission performs around 330 surgeries and distributes hundreds of glaucoma drops, significantly enhancing the quality of life for individuals in the region.
