Our Story

Founded in 1992, Hacienda Community Development Corporation was established to provide essential housing and supportive services to the low-income, predominantly Latino community in Cully, NE Portland. As the largest Latino-led, Latino-serving housing organization in Oregon, Hacienda has built 11 housing communities, creating 605 units of affordable housing, with plans to double this number in the coming years. Our holistic, client-centered approach has expanded to include small business advising, homeownership support, and youth and family services, all tailored to the needs of our residents.

Impact

In 2021, Hacienda CDC made a significant impact by connecting individuals and small businesses to over $1.4 million in assistance. We engaged 846 homeowners in our housing support programs, served 2,100 residents in our affordable housing communities, provided 8,046 hours of service programming to youth and families, and supported 178 local small businesses through our Empresarios program.
