Our Story

Founded in 1999, Florence Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live. This nonprofit affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International has successfully placed 33 families in safe, affordable homes with manageable mortgages.

Impact

Over the past 25 years, Florence Habitat has built 30 homes and rehabilitated 4, providing 34 families with a stable and secure place to call home. Excitingly, construction on 2 new homes is set to begin in 2025.
