Our Story

Founded in 1976 by Linda and Miller Fuller in Americus, Georgia, Habitat for Humanity has been a beacon of hope for families in need of safe and affordable housing. Since 1988, Habitat for Humanity of Burke County has been dedicated to constructing homes for families living in overcrowded or unsafe conditions. Each year, this organization builds two to seven homes, empowering families through the process of homeownership.
