The Guyana Medical Mission was founded by Drs. James T. Cort and Berman O. Saunders, who began their journey in 2005. Over the years, this dedicated group of healthcare professionals, including surgeons, physicians, and nurses, has grown significantly, tirelessly working to provide medical assistance to impoverished communities in Guyana.
In 2017, the organization served 2,424 patients across seven locations, performed 69 surgeries, and supplied essential medical equipment to local health centers. By 2019, over 4,000 individuals benefited from their services.
