Our Story
The Gurdjieff Society of Massachusetts, founded in the mid-1960s, is dedicated to preserving and advancing the teachings of G.I. Gurdjieff. Evolving from the Boston Society for Experimental Studies, it has been influenced by notable figures like Dorothea Dooling, a direct pupil of Gurdjieff. This organization operates as a school where students and teachers engage in self-exploration and community work, fostering a life of inquiry and self-knowledge.
