About Gulf Coast Wildlife Rescue

Gulf Coast Wildlife Rescue is a dedicated organization of permitted wildlife rehabilitators and volunteers, committed to caring for injured and orphaned wildlife in the Brazoria and Matagorda County areas of Texas. Since 1994, this all-volunteer group has worked tirelessly to ensure that wildlife receives the care it needs for a successful return to the wild.

Impact on Wildlife

Each year, Gulf Coast Wildlife Rescue cares for over 2,500 animals, achieving a remarkable release rate of over 60%. With experience in rehabilitating more than 250 species of birds, mammals, and reptiles, the organization has never turned away an animal in need.

Why Your Donation Matters

As a nonprofit organization, Gulf Coast Wildlife Rescue relies entirely on donations to fund its vital work. With no state or federal funding, every contribution helps cover the costs of food, medications, and care for injured wildlife.
