Our Story

In 1983, a small group of dedicated Christians came together to plant a seed of hope for the hungry and needy in Gulfport, Mississippi. This initiative led to the establishment of the Gulf Coast Christian Life Center, with its outreach program, Feed My Sheep, beginning its mission in 1984. Initially serving around 20 homeless individuals from a vacant restaurant, the program has evolved significantly over the years. After several relocations, including a devastating halt in operations due to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Feed My Sheep reopened in 2009 at a new, state-of-the-art facility. Today, it serves up to 400 hot lunches daily and prepares additional meals for those who are homebound.
