Our Story
The Guilford Community Fund was established in the early 1950s, following a recommendation from the Guilford Chamber of Commerce. The goal was to create a consolidated fundraising event to ensure local non-profit agencies received the financial support they needed. In its inaugural year, over 125 volunteers went door-to-door, raising $19,850 to support 16 organizations. Today, the Fund has expanded to include twenty dedicated volunteer board members and supports 22 non-profit service agencies, all committed to serving the Guilford community.
