Our Story

Founded in 2001 by Bethany Eisenberg Zeeb, Guatemala Aid Fund began its journey by collecting supplies for Hermano Pedro Orphanage in Antigua, Guatemala. Over the years, GAF has evolved to focus on supporting Guatemalan-run programs that tackle the root causes of poverty, emphasizing education, nutrition, sustainability, and job training.

Impact

GAF significantly improves the quality of life for impoverished families in Guatemala by providing education, healthcare, and job training. The organization has successfully constructed a community center that includes a medical clinic, library, and educational support, directly benefiting many children and families.
