Our Story

Guadalupe Center began as a humble soup kitchen at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Recognizing a greater need, volunteers established the center as a 501(c)(3) in 1984. Initially focused on tutoring non-English-speaking elementary children, the center has since expanded its educational programs and facilities, now reaching over 1,901 students annually. Despite this success, over 200 students remain on the waiting list for Early Childhood Education services.

Each year, Guadalupe Center mobilizes donors, staff, and volunteers to break the cycle of poverty for children in Immokalee.
