Founded in 1973, GROW Community Gardens, formerly known as the P-Patch Trust, has dedicated decades to promoting community gardens. This initiative harnesses the power of gardening to foster social and environmental change, encouraging neighborhoods to cultivate gardens and orchards that provide healthy food and strengthen community bonds.
In the 2023 gardening season, volunteers at Magnuson P-Patch donated a record 5,357 pounds of fresh organic produce to local food banks, significantly enhancing food security in the community.
