Groundwork Denver, established in 2002, has been dedicated to enhancing the environment and quality of life in Denver communities. From improving air quality in Globeville to revitalizing Mestizo-Curtis Park, the organization works tirelessly to create sustainable solutions.
Impact
Through initiatives like Take Charge!, Groundwork Denver has engaged 1,113 Student Energy Ambassadors, swapped out 6,250 incandescent light bulbs for CFLs, saving 431,250 kWh annually and reducing energy costs by $38,813 for Colorado residents.
