Our Story

Gridiron Heroes Spinal Cord Injury Foundation was established in 2003 to offer immediate and long-term resources to individuals suffering from catastrophic spinal cord injuries, particularly those related to high school football. Inspired by Chris Canales, who faced such a challenge, the foundation aims to fill the support gap for affected families across the nation.

Impact

Over the past six years, Gridiron Heroes has provided $750,000 in direct support, donated 14 handicap accessible vans, and assisted 50 players nationwide. The organization is dedicated to promoting safety and prevention through camps while offering emotional support to those affected.
