About Grey Bears

For over four decades, Grey Bears has been dedicated to serving the Santa Cruz community by conserving and repurposing resources that would otherwise go to waste. Through programs like Healthy Food for Seniors, volunteer opportunities, and recycling initiatives, Grey Bears creates a sustainable model for nonprofit service.

Impact

This year alone, Grey Bears delivered 2.5 million pounds of food and served 46,000 hot meals, while diverting 8,000 tons of materials from waste streams.
