Our Story

Founded in 1982 by the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center has grown from humble beginnings into a vital sanctuary for injured and orphaned wildlife. Following a generous donation in memory of Natalie Gneiser, the center expanded its capabilities and was incorporated in 1993, treating nearly 200 species along Colorado's Front Range.

Our Impact

Each year, Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center cares for thousands of animals, representing over 200 species. As the only wildlife rehabilitation center in the region, it leads the way in providing essential care and rehabilitation services to the local wildlife population.
