Our Story

Greenhill Humane Society has been a beacon of hope for animals in Lane County since 1944. As the only animal shelter in the Eugene/Springfield area, it provides essential services such as adoptions, lost pet reunions, and crisis care boarding. The organization also offers spay/neuter programs and humane education, ensuring a brighter future for pets and their families.

Impact

Last year, Greenhill Humane Society welcomed 5,356 animals into its shelter and clinic, successfully facilitating 2,581 adoptions and reuniting 966 pets with their families. With 1,187 spay/neuter surgeries performed, the organization actively combats feral cat overpopulation, demonstrating its commitment to animal welfare.
