The Green Infrastructure Center, Inc. (GIC) was established in 2006 to assist local governments, communities, and regional planning organizations in evaluating and conserving their green infrastructure assets. By providing tools such as economic analysis, mapping, and land use planning, GIC collaborates with localities to inventory their natural assets and develop effective conservation strategies.
