Our Story

Founded in 1990 by Claudia Deats-Rodgers, Greccio Housing began with a vision to improve the quality of life for those in need of stable and permanent homes. Starting from a modest 100 square foot storefront in downtown Colorado Springs, Greccio has evolved into a vital resource for the community. Today, it manages over 600 apartments across more than two dozen properties, offering affordable housing to nearly 1,000 residents annually. The organization adapts its housing models to meet the changing needs of the community, utilizing strategies such as acquisition and rehabilitation, adaptive reuse, and new construction.
