Our Story
Founded in 1991, Greater Richmond SCAN addresses the alarming rates of child abuse and neglect in the Richmond area. The organization is committed to enhancing the lives of children and strengthening families through prevention and treatment services.
Impact
In the fiscal year 2022-2023, SCAN served 404 caregivers and 88 children through the Family Support Program, advocated for 215 children through the CASA program, and provided services to 1,005 children and 565 caregivers through the Child Advocacy Center.
