Our Story

The Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival (GPJFF) emerged from the merger of the Phoenix Jewish Film Festival and the East Valley Jewish Film Festival. Founded in 1996 by Phyllis and the late Sheldon Pierson, and later joined by the EVJFF in 2004, GPJFF has been a beacon of Jewish culture and storytelling for 27 years, bringing compelling international films to the Greater Phoenix area.

Impact

In 2020, nearly 13,000 attendees experienced the magic of film at GPJFF, showcasing a diverse array of genres including drama, comedy, and documentary. The festival continues to grow, aiming to reach even more audiences each year.
