Greater NY Foundation

Our Story

Greater New York Foundation was established in response to the 2008 financial crisis, initially as an initiative of the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City. Since becoming an independent nonprofit in 2015, it has focused on fostering collaboration between nonprofit leaders and private sector executives.

Impact

Since its inception, Greater NY has successfully matched over 135 executive partnerships and facilitated more than 70 Analyst Corps projects, significantly strengthening the civic fabric of New York City.
