About the Greater Largo Library Foundation

Founded in 1989, the Greater Largo Library Foundation has been dedicated to cultivating funds that support innovative programs and services beyond the traditional funding provided by the City of Largo. The Foundation played a pivotal role in raising $1.9 million for the construction of a state-of-the-art library building, completed in 2005. In 2018, the Library launched Community Outreach Services, successfully raising $600,000 to fund a Bookmobile, ensuring access to library resources for those unable to visit in person.
