Greater Killeen Community Clinic
EIN: 74-2724725 · Killeen, TX
Our Story
In 1993, a needs assessment revealed that transportation and affordable medical care were critical for social service clients in Killeen. A dedicated task force, comprising community leaders and medical practitioners, worked tirelessly to establish the Greater Killeen Community Clinic, which opened its doors in November 1994. Since then, the Clinic has expanded its services and facilities to better meet the needs of the community.
Impact
The Greater Killeen Community Clinic has become a vital resource, providing quality healthcare to uninsured and underserved adults and children. The Clinic treated over 1,000 patients during Hurricane Katrina and continues to serve as a 'medical home' for many who previously relied on emergency departments.
