Our Story

Founded in 2010 by Corinne Cannon on her son Jack’s first birthday, Greater DC Diaper Bank has grown to become one of the largest diaper banks in the country. Over the past decade, more than 24 million diapers and thousands of dollars in baby necessities and hygiene items have been distributed, supporting tens of thousands of families across the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Our Impact

Greater DC Diaper Bank empowers vulnerable families by providing a reliable source of basic baby needs and personal hygiene products. Annually, GDCDB distributes 9 million diapers and hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of essential items, ensuring families have what they need to thrive.
