Our Story
Greater Brookland Intergenerational Village (GBIV) was founded in 2018 by a group of dedicated neighbors who envisioned a community where individuals of all ages could thrive together. Through community roundtables and local meetings, GBIV identified the needs of Ward 5 residents and officially formed a board in May 2019. The launch party in January 2020 marked the beginning of a vibrant network aimed at enhancing the lives of its members.
