Our Story

Greater Binghamton Futbol Club (GBFC) is a vibrant soccer community based in Binghamton, New York. Founded in 2008, GBFC began as a youth soccer club, welcoming players aged 8 to 18. In 2012, the club expanded into the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), providing local men with semi-professional soccer opportunities. The team made its debut on May 13, 2012, and quickly made a name for itself by finishing first in the Keystone Conference in its second season. In June 2022, GBFC proudly introduced GBFC Lightning, Binghamton’s first-ever women’s semi-professional soccer team, further enriching the local sports landscape.
