The Great Miami Rowing Center (GMRC) was established in 2007 by passionate volunteers as part of the Hamilton Vision 2020 initiative. This initiative aimed to revitalize Hamilton's Downtown corridor through economic development. Initially focused on youth rowing, GMRC has expanded to include collegiate, post-collegiate, masters, and adaptive rowing programs, fostering a love for the sport across all ages.
GMRC promotes the recreational use of the Great Miami River, encouraging daily sports and community events that enhance civic pride and engagement through rowing.
