Our Story

Great Jobs Kansas City, formerly known as KC Scholars, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing access to college scholarships and tuition-free job training for low- to modest-income individuals in the Kansas City area. Founded in 2016 through community engagement and the vision of Ewing Marion Kauffman, the organization has evolved to reflect its expanded mission, officially rebranding to Great Jobs KC in October 2023.
