Founded in 1983 by Senator Walter Stosch and Dr. Ray Gargiulo, Great Aspirations Scholarship Program, Inc. (GRASP) is dedicated to helping Virginia’s students and families reach their educational goals. By providing in-school advisors, GRASP coaches students and parents on financial aid education and assists in developing personalized educational plans. Currently serving 112 high schools across Virginia, GRASP has earned multiple accolades, including the Richmond History Maker award.
GRASP has successfully helped numerous students secure funding for post-secondary education, ensuring equal opportunities for all, regardless of financial or social circumstances. With five consecutive 4-star ratings from Charity Navigator, GRASP exemplifies effectiveness and transparency in its mission.
