Our Story

In 2015, Gravity Water's Founder and Executive Director, Danny Wright, embarked on a mission to improve clean water access in Nepal following devastating earthquakes. By early 2016, the first Gravity Water system was installed at a school in Jorpati, Kathmandu, providing 500 students with safe drinking water daily. Recognizing the urgent need for sustainable solutions, Gravity Water was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, expanding its reach to over 150 schools and communities across the Asia-Pacific region.

Our Impact

Gravity Water's innovative approach ensures that schools can provide safe drinking water for under $1 per child per year. This sustainable model focuses on at-risk communities, helping to maintain water resources while improving health and education outcomes.
