Our Story

Founded in 1985 by Carl Wallace and Carolyn Pfaffmann, Granted is a community-based nonprofit located in Evansville, Indiana. The organization was born from the heartfelt desire to grant once-in-a-lifetime Wishes for local children aged 3 to 18 who are facing life-threatening or terminal conditions. The journey began with a child named Jamie Petty, who dreamed of visiting Disney World. Since then, Granted has evolved and rebranded, but its mission remains steadfast: to bring joy and hope to children and their families during their most challenging times.
