Our Story

Grandville Avenue Arts and Humanities (GAAH) is dedicated to fostering communities of care and belonging in Grand Rapids, specifically in the Roosevelt Park and Black Hills neighborhoods. Through the Cook Arts Center and the Cook Library Center, GAAH engages with local youth and families, using the arts and humanities to cultivate curiosity, creativity, and trusting relationships.

Impact

Last year, GAAH facilitated 434 classes, supported 30 teen leaders, welcomed 4,674 library visits, and organized 25 family events, showcasing its significant engagement in the community.
