Our Story

Founded in 1998, Grandma's Place emerged from the urgent need to provide a safe haven for children facing abuse and neglect. After a child was removed from an unsafe home, concerned citizens and foster parents stepped in to offer temporary care, leading to the establishment of this vital organization. Located in Royal Palm Beach, Grandma's Place offers 24-hour care in a nurturing, home-like environment for children from birth to 12 years old, including those with disabilities. Named in honor of Bessie Gordon, affectionately known as Grandma Bessie, the organization embodies her spirit of love and care.
