Our Story

Grand Valley Catholic Outreach began over 40 years ago when two Franciscan sisters offered bag lunches to the homeless and hungry from their back door. Established in 1988 by four Catholic parishes, this organization has grown with the support of interfaith and civic communities, providing resources with respect, dignity, and hope to those in distress.

Impact

Serving over 31,000 individuals annually, Grand Valley Catholic Outreach operates a soup kitchen that serves 250-300 meals daily, a clothing bank assisting 31,000 individuals, and a financial aid program that prevents an average of 350 evictions each year.
