Our Story

The Grand Traverse Ski Club was established in the early 1950s to provide local children with skiing opportunities. Evolving from the Hickory Hills Ski Club, it has a rich history of fostering sportsmanship and accessibility in skiing for families in the Traverse City area.

Through quality instructional programs, the Grand Traverse Ski Club has nurtured a love for skiing among youth, successfully training over 100 school children in its first year.
