Our Story
The Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy (GTRLC) was established in 1991 to protect the significant natural, scenic, and farmland in the Grand Traverse region of Michigan. With a dedicated team of staff and board members, GTRLC focuses on advancing stewardship and ensuring these lands are preserved for future generations.
Impact
Since its founding, GTRLC has successfully protected over 47,375 acres of land and 155 miles of shoreline. The organization has created over 126 miles of trails and opened 80 properties to the public, enhancing access to nature for residents and visitors alike.
