Our Story

Founded in May 1974, Grand Traverse Industries, Inc. (GTI) is dedicated to developing and providing comprehensive services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Initially serving just 10 clients in Leelanau and Grand Traverse Counties, GTI has expanded its reach to support over 500 individuals annually across seven counties in Northwest Lower Michigan. Through vocational training, employment opportunities, and habilitation services, GTI empowers people with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.
