Our Story

Founded in 1984, Grand Strand Citizens for Life (GSCL) is a dedicated nonprofit organization based in South Carolina. The mission is to promote the dignity and right to life of every individual from conception to natural death. GSCL fosters respect for human rights and emphasizes the importance of family as a fundamental institution of society.

Impact

GSCL is committed to peacefully advocating for an end to abortion and fostering genuine respect for all human life. The organization actively supports the South Carolina Citizens for Life annual Pro-Life Rally and provides transportation for participants. Additionally, the annual Pro-Life Interfaith Prayer Vigil memorializes the millions of unborn children lost since the Roe v. Wade decision, which has led to over 64 million reported abortions through 2020.
