Grain of Rice Project is dedicated to empowering individuals in Kenya through education and training initiatives rooted in Christian values. Originally based in Kibera, the organization expanded to a small village outside of Nanyuki in 2021, where it now operates on 8.5 acres. This site includes the artisan program, volunteer housing, vegetable gardens, and the Grain of Rice Academy, a primary school that provides high-quality, hands-on learning for children in need.
Grain of Rice Academy currently serves 70 students, offering a literacy-based education that emphasizes practical learning. The Artisan Program supports over 20 artisans, enabling them to earn a living wage and enhance their quality of life through essential skills training.
