About Grafton High Band

The Grafton High Band has a rich history, beginning its journey in September 1996 with just 96 musicians. Located in the heart of York County, Virginia, the band program has flourished over the years, expanding to 240 talented musicians. The program includes a marching band, three concert bands, a jazz ensemble, and a percussion ensemble, all housed in a newly built band room that reflects its growth.

Impact of Grafton High Band

Grafton bands have consistently achieved superior ratings at state festivals and have been recognized as a Virginia Honor Band for twelve consecutive years. The marching bands have claimed Grand Champion titles at numerous competitions across the country, showcasing their dedication and talent.
