Grace Notes Music Foundation

Our Story

Founded in 2010, the Grace Notes Music Foundation began as an outreach program of the Jupiter Academy of Music, dedicated to administering the Makayla Joy Sitton Music Scholarships. Named in honor of a talented young pianist, these scholarships aim to continue her legacy by providing music lessons to children in need. Since receiving 501(c)(3) designation in 2011, the Foundation has expanded its vision to include more scholarships and outreach programs, ensuring that the joy of music reaches every child in the community.

Impact

The Grace Notes Music Foundation operates through grants and generous donations from compassionate individuals across Palm Beach County and beyond. Research shows that students from low-income families who engage in arts education are twice as likely to graduate from college. Through performance opportunities, music students gain poise, self-esteem, and confidence, transforming their lives.
