Our Story

Grace Community Center has been dedicated to uplifting the community since 1969, originating as a church mission of the United Church of Christ. With a focus on self-determination, the Center serves approximately 5,000 residents, addressing the needs of a neighborhood where 48% live in poverty.

Impact

In 2022, Grace Community Center provided emergency food and personal care items to 1,500 households, significantly improving food security for 91% of pantry recipients and enhancing educational outcomes for local youth.
