Camp Hope Yakima

Our Story

Camp Hope Yakima began in March 2017, addressing the urgent need for homelessness solutions in downtown Yakima and the greater Yakima Valley. Initially an outdoor encampment for 45 adults, it has transformed into a structured emergency shelter that accommodates an average of 180 individuals, including families with children.

Impact

Since its inception, Camp Hope has provided over 15,388 bed nights and 33,853 meals to 556 unique individuals. The shelter continues to be a vital resource, offering safety, shelter, clothing, and food while connecting residents to essential support services.
