Our Story

For over three decades, Govans Ecumenical Development Corporation (GEDCO) has been a beacon of hope in Baltimore, addressing the housing crisis for older adults and low-income families. Founded by seven dedicated pastors, GEDCO has developed various housing and support services that uplift the community.

Impact

Each year, GEDCO provides permanent housing for over 600 individuals and emergency food and financial aid to more than 4,100 people, significantly enhancing the lives of those in need.
