Founded by Sheila Patel, Gotham Scholars Inc. is dedicated to bridging the gap between education and opportunity for first-generation, low-income public school students. With a personal understanding of the challenges faced by these students, Sheila established this nonprofit in 2020 to provide essential academic enrichment, mentorship, and college access support.
Gotham Scholars proudly reports that 100% of its first-generation, low-income Scholars receive significant financial aid, and all Scholars have been admitted to the Top 100 Universities.
