Our Story
The Gotham Knights Rugby Football Club was founded in 2001 in New York City, inspired by the legacy of Mark Bingham, a rugby player lost in the September 11 attacks. This club fosters an inclusive environment for LGBTQ and underrepresented groups in rugby, promoting diversity and challenging stereotypes within the athletic community.
Impact
Over the years, Gotham Knights RFC has successfully created a competitive and inclusive rugby environment, winning the Bingham Cup in 2010 and consistently excelling in national and international tournaments.
