Our Story

Founded in 1896, Goodwill Rescue Mission began as the Industrial Home For Men, dedicated to providing food, clothing, shelter, and spiritual guidance to those in need. Over the years, it has evolved to meet the changing needs of the community, establishing outreach programs and a medical facility. In 2016, a partnership with The Bowery Mission was formed to enhance services for the homeless and impoverished in Newark and northern New Jersey.
