Our Story
Goodwill Industries of Tenneva Area, Inc. was founded in 1972 by Mrs. Anita Steiner in Scott County, Virginia. Since relocating to Kingsport, Tennessee in 1994, Goodwill has become a vital part of the community, operating ten stores and thirteen attended donation centers across Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. With a mission to provide employment services, Goodwill empowers individuals to achieve their potential through the power of work.
